The Man With The Red Tattoo.

BENSON, Raymond (born 1955).

New York, NY: G.P Putnam's Sons, 2002. [James Bond] UNCORRECTED PROOF COPY of the First US edition, PRESENTATION/ASSOCIATION COPY. Published simultaneously with the UK hardcover. Signed and inscribed by the author, 'For / Gary / Arigato // Raymond Benson'. Octavo, pp.[xii]; 289; [3], blank. Publisher's illustrated softcovers, with publication details printed to rear. Marked 'FOR LIMITED DISTRIBUTION NOT FOR SALE'. A clean, fresh copy which appears to be unread. No proof copies were issued for any of Benson's Bond titles in the UK, and only a handful of proofs appear to have been produced in America. Unlike the previous titles in proof, this has illustrated rather than plain covers. The proof includes errors and differences to the published hardback. From the collection of Ian Fleming Foundation director David A. Reinhardt. Likely given to Gary Rosenfeld, weapons consultant to Raymond Benson and a fellow IFF member. Item #76151
