Cheap paper stock a little tanned as usual, covers show some trivial wear. Now a rather elusive paperback. This is Kingsley Amis' first venture into the world of James Bond. He also wrote the light-hearted 'Book of Bond' in 1965 and the first post-Fleming 007 novel 'Colonel Sun'. This copy belonged to author Peter Haining (1940-2008) who wrote the reference book James Bond: A Celebration (1987). With accompanying paperwork/provenance. Item #75596
