Publisher's black cloth lettered in silver and blue, red endpapers, illustrated dust-wrapper, top edge tinted yellow. Contents clean, discreet owner label (small) to endpaper, fore edge lightly spotted, jacket a little rubbed, one soft fold/crease to the spine. Thriller, set within the Hollywood entertainment industry. The jacket was designed by Paul Bacon, the prolific book jacket studio who created artwork for Deighton's contemporaries Ian Fleming, Frederick Forsyth, Georges Simenon and Daphne Du Maurier.
