SIGNED by the author in his customary sharpie to the title page. Also, signed to flyleaf by the artist together with his characteristic ink chop. From the collection of Ian Fleming bibliographer Jon Gilbert, with his pencil ownership and loose bookplate. Clean throughout. Raymond Benson's second original 007 adventure. Following Richard Chopping, Bill Botton and Trevor Scobie, artist David Scutt produced some distinctive original artwork for many of the James Bond continuation novels by John Gardner and Raymond Benson. In the 1990's he also produced striking cover designs for Coronet series of the Ian Fleming originals. He has also illustrated jackets for Phillip Pullman, Terry Pratchett and Bernard Cornwell.
