United Artists, 1976. [Movie memorabilia] Revised final shooting script by Christopher Wood, likely retaining some elements of earlier drafts by Richard Maibaum and others, dated 23rd August 1976. Quarto (28 x 22cm), pp.133, roneograph or Xerox sheets with amendment list and fourteen additional inserted revised pages [15A, 43A, 72A, 81A, 82A, 83A, 84A, 92A, 114A, 114B, 120A, 127A 132A, 132B]. Stud-bound in 'script city' branded yellow card covers, with later title label applied. Revisions dated 20/9/76, 14/10/76 ['in Nassau'], 8/11/76, 19/11/76, 23/11/76, 6/12/76, 10/12/76, 20/1/77. Some annotations copied over, some alignment faults but all text present and legible, a few light marks to covers. The tenth James Bond film and the first to be solely produced by Albert R. 'Cubby' Broccoli after the break-up of his partnership with Harry Saltzman. Many of the added sheets concern the underwater 'Lotus Special' sequence, being revised in the Bahamas on 14th October 1976. The latest revisions are dated 20th January 1977. There are some continuity errors in the naming of Stronmberg's supertanker, spelled 'Leparus' on the earliest sheets but appearing as 'Liparus' on revisions. Item #74537

Formerly owned by James Bond historian John Griswold (1950-2016), purchased ca.1980s/90s, later part of Ian Fleming bibliographer Jon Gilbert's archive, with his pencil ownership within.
