Publisher's black cloth-effect paper over boards, titled in silver, in 'flame' design dust-wrapper by Kenneth Lewis, autographed by him in the presence of this cataloguer. Contents clean, jacket lightly handled; near fine. The Moonraker jacket was the third and final James Bond cover design by Ken Lewis (1926-2013). This was the final Cape printing of this novel during the author's lifetime. From the collection of bibliographer Jon Gilbert, with his pencilled notes and ownership signature. His comprehensive guide to the works of Ian Fleming (2012) won the 16th Breslauer Prize for bibliography. The third impression print run was much lower than the first (less than half the amount were printed). Item #73986
