[Thriller] PAPERBACK EDITIONS, the first without Ian Fleming quote, the second with Fleming review on rear cover and supporting quote from Graham Greene to front. Octavos (18 x 11cm), in publisher's sofcovers. No ink names, lightly handled, a little soiling to later copy. Very good. Set in South East Asia, 'The Night-Comers' covers 24 critical hours in a military coup d'etat. Published in America as 'State of Siege' and filmed by Rank in 1959. The novel was favourably reviewed by Ian Fleming for The Sunday Times. This pair is from the comprehensive archive assembled by Jon Gilbert (pencil signature within). His comprehensive guide to the works of Ian Fleming (2012) won the 16th Breslauer Prize for bibliography. Item #73672
