A Season of James Bond 007 [LOBBY CARDS].

United Artists, Printed in Great Britain, 1975. [Cinema promotion] U.K. front of house stills, complete set of eight, for the James Bond season, 1975, films based on the novels by Ian Fleming. Each measuring 8 x 10 inches, featuring black & white stills, bordered in white with text to lower margin. Near fine condition. In our experience, these sets are less common than the original single release colour sets. The final UK re-issue Front of House set, which accompanied the 1975 film season, containing one card for each of the first seven films of the series, plus a 'gun barrell' title card to match the corresponding quad poster. With no standard format for this season, individual cinema managers determined the performance of films or double-bills according to availability of prints. The present set contains a second title card in place of 'Dr No', likely as the cinema where used did not have a film print of that movie to show.
