[Film promotion] U.S. one-sheet 'film season' poster advertising the 1964 United Artists film directed by Guy Hamilton starring Sean Connery as Ian Fleming's James Bond, produced by Harry Saltzman and Albert R. Broccoli's Eon Productions. Approximate dimensions 41 x 27 inches. Printed on matt paper stock with the G.A.U. [printers union] symbol present. A used, theatre-displayed poster, with pasteover title, blocked out text (hand-painted) below the 007 logo, backed on vintage craft paper. Folded, some rubs to folds. An ideal candidate for gentle touch-up and framing. Featuring generic 'Connery' illustration, these 1975 festival posters could each advertise different Bond films when the pasteover title was applied. The present example may have been used as a one-off showing (not part of the season), as the bold yellow 'Festival' text has been redacted. Item #72876
