Publisher's black cloth-effect paper over boards blocked in silver and red metallic foils, dust-jacket illustrated by Richard Chopping, priced at 16s. The printer's copy, marked up with copy settings for the eighth impression; prelims with annotations in red pencil, pasteover section to printer's address on copyright page. But for the unique markings, this is a fine copy. Lowe & Brydone took over the printing of this book for the eighth impression onwards; the present copy is their retained sample of the previous printing by The Alden Press, suitably marked up for the next impression.
