The UK Pan edition was published simultaneously (Gilbert, p.463). Signet Books' series D3250 (being the FIRST ISSUE). Pp.126 + [2] advertisements. Publisher's illustrated softcovers with original price 50c to upper panel, all edges tinted red. No ink names, cheap paper toned as expected, minor spine roll. Very good indeed. The FIRST issue is priced at 50c and designated Signet 'D' series. The first print sheets were mostly bound in covers designated Signet 'P' series priced at 50c. Scarce thus. Item #72812
