Publisher's black cloth-effect paper over boards blocked in silver and red metallic foils, dust-jacket illustrated by Richard Chopping, clipped and repriced at £3.95. Remaining corners are unclipped, as found 'occasionally' (Gilbert). Contents clean and fresh. Jacket shows minimal wear and a few small fingernail marks to spine. Fine. Many of Cape's 70s James Bond hardcover reprints were taken into the lending library system to replace existing well-worn stock; clean, privately owned copies such as this are genuinely scarce.
