The shadowy Political Warfare Exchange (P.W.E.), run by Sefton Delmer, broadcast hoax German-language radio programmes from the UK, providing misinformation to the enemy. Delmer worked closely with his friend Ian Fleming, the liaison officer for Naval Intelligence.
