Privately printed, No date [circa 1997]. [Film promotion] Reproduction digital illustration of the movie artwork by Frank McCarthy and Robert McGinnis. Landscape format, archivally mounted. Approximate total dimensions 14 x 20 inches, image size approximately 8 x 16 inches. Fine condition throughout. Ideal for framing Provenance: A series of reproduction artworks were printed by James Bond historian John Griswold (1950-2016) with permission of the artist, with whom he was acquainted. These were subsequently sold via Winter Auctions (4th October 2010) to James Bond specialists Adrian Harrington Ltd., where they have since been collected and assessed. An out of series set including Griswold's proofs and some single images has been retained. The volcano launch site illustration was one of three chosen for the British quad film poster, this being designated 'style A'. Item #72168
