Publisher's beige cloth lettered in red. With menu for 21st club dinner at Kettner's Restaurant, Soho, and a book of Rules and Roll of Members, 1928-9. Covers mottled. Very good. Ephemera is fine. The Double Crown Club is a dining club and society of printers, publishers, book designers and illustrators in London that was founded in 1924. Among its members in 1928 were Douglas Cockerell, Grailly Hewitt, G. Wren Howard (co-founder of Jonathan Cape Ltd.), Geoffrey Keynes, Francis Meynell, Stanley Morison, Paul Nash and Michael Sadleir.
