Exquisitely bound by BAYNTUN-RIVIERE in full crushed navy morocco, with raised bands, two-line gilt fillet, marbled endpapers, inner gilt dentelles, a.e.g. A fine copy. Mostly follows the King James version. This example is from the collection of award-winning Ian Fleming bibliographer Jon Gilbert; the title was used as a novelty device for Kingsley Amis' Book of Bond, a handbook for spies issued with a reversible jacket, where the inside was printed as 'The Bible Designed to be read as Literature'.
