[Cinema promotion] Five black & white UK Front of House Stills for the 1963 UA film starring Sean Connery as Ian Fleming's James Bond, produced by Harry Saltzman and Albert R. Broccoli's EON Productions. These double-weight glossy monochrome cards were produced for the re-release of the film in the late 60s. Each 8 x 10 inches, with captioned borders. Lightly handled, reverse sides clean. Near fine. Ideal for framing. Housed in a black card presentation wallet with printed label. Note on Format; the Lobby Card is a small poster or titled still printed on card stock, usually 10 x 8 inches (UK and Europe) or 11 x 14 inches (US) in a landscape view. Generally produced in sets of eight in colour for Britain and America, intended for display in a cinema foyer or lobby. Film stills are in a similar format but on photographic paper, taken from the film print (occasionally with a scene number). These are more numerous and mostly printed in black and white.
