[Cinema promotion] An original UK Front of House Still for the 1964 UA film starring Sean Connery as Ian Fleming's James Bond, produced by Harry Saltzman and Albert R. Broccoli's EON Productions, directed by Guy Hamilton. Approximate dimensions 10 x 8 inches. Card depicts James Bond grappling with Auric Goldfinger on board his private jet. Gentle crease to lower margin else fine and fresh. Ideal for framing. Note on Format; the Lobby Card is a small poster or titled still printed on card stock, usually 10 x 8 inches (UK and Europe) or 11 x 14 inches (US) in a landscape view. Generally produced in sets of eight in colour for Britain and America, intended for display in a cinema foyer or lobby. Film stills are in a similar format but on photographic paper, taken from the film print (occasionally with a scene number). These are more numerous and mostly printed in black and white.
