Top edge of textblock red. Owner inscriptions, price clipped jacket without the usual sunning to the spine, short tear to fold. Very Good Indeed. An espionage novel set in the alternative reality of German-occupied London during the Second World War. With comparisons to Graham Greene and Ian Fleming, Deighton first arrived on the shady scene in 1962 and was described by Julian Symons as 'the poet of the spy story'. Item #70474
