Berkely Mather's books were favourably reviewed by Ian Fleming for the Sunday Times, and Mather later contributed to the screenplay for the first James Bond film 'Dr. No' (1962). This issue also contains one of the earliest UK periodical appearances by Fleming's friend and wartime colleague Roald Dahl. From the comprehensive bibliographical archive assembled by Jon Gilbert, with pencil ownership. His encyclopaedic guide to the works of Ian Fleming (2012) won the 16th Breslauer Prize for bibliography. Item #70246
