Publisher's blue and black hardcovers lettered in gilt, purple topstain to first volume, peach-coloured endpapers to first volume, Hong Kong/China map endpapers to second volume (the earliest issue), photographic dust-wrappers priced. All three volumes free from inscriptions, none are price clipped, top edge colour to vol. 1 is a little sunned, other edges uniformly dusty, some spotting to textblock edges of vol. 2, jackets all have small nicks and rubs to spine ends and extremities. A very good, natural set. The author's masterwork, a thrilling elegy for post-imperial Britain. 'Tinker Tailor...' was the basis for the Oscar-nominated 2011 film starring Gary Oldman. Item #70062
