Publisher's quarter red cloth over patterned cream boards, photographic dust-jacket. A crisp, clean, near fine copy, with no fading to the spine panel whatsoever. Uncommon, especially in this condition. Thrilling Cities is a travelogue account of various exotic locations, many of which feature in the author's James Bond thrillers, including Hong Kong, Tokyo, Macao, Honolulu, Las Vegas, Vienna, Geneva and Monte Carlo. These were serialised in the UK in The Sunday Times (1959-60). From the comprehensive James Bond collection assembled by Jon Gilbert (pencilled notes and ownership within). His comprehensive guide to the works of Ian Fleming (2012) won the 16th Breslauer Prize for bibliography. Item #69982
