Contents and edges clean, jacket crisp and fresh with one tiny nick at crown, small dink to spine. Overall, bright and attractive. Author's second book, following 'The Day of The Jackal' (1971). Author Frederick Forsyth was later nominated for an Ian Fleming Steel Dagger and is a recipient of the Crime Writers' Association Diamond Dagger, recognising a lifetime contribution to crime writing in the English language. This copy is from the comprehensive archive of Ian Fleming bibliographer Jon Gilbert, whose encyclopaedic guide to the works of Ian Fleming (2012) won the 16th Breslauer Prize for bibliography.
