'Paris Courier' [From A View To A Kill] (A New James Bond Adventure) contained within 'Argosy' magazine for men. Volume 352, Number 3, March 1961.

Ohio and New York: Popular Publications, Incorporated. 1961. [Men's Magazine] FIRST US APPEARANCE, bibliographer's copy. Magazine format (28 x 22cm), pp.146. The novella is advertised on the front cover. Publisher's photographic wraps, stapled, illustrated throughout. Some minor handling, wear to spine as expected, small chip to rear corner. A very good copy without the usual postal label to upper. Uncommon thus. This copy is from the comprehensive bibliographical archive assembled by Jon Gilbert, with pencil ownership. His encyclopaedic guide to the works of Ian Fleming (2012) won the 16th Breslauer Prize for bibliography. The story appears on pages 56–7, 127–32, being an illustrated printing of From a View to a Kill, published under this new title. The double-page colour frontispiece is by John McDermott. It is the first American illustrated edition, and the first of three James Bond titles to appear in Argosy. Item #69004
