1987. [Film promotion] International one-sheet poster for the 1987 MGM/UA film starring Timothy Dalton as Ian Fleming's James Bond, produced by Cubby Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson's EON Productions. Approximate dimensions 40 x 27 inches. Art Direction and design by Jeffrey Bacon and David Reneric, photographed by Jim McCrary. NZ rating snipe applied. Folded. A few minor nicks and edge tears. Very good indeed. Will be despatched rolled, in a substantial card tube. This 'Nightdress' was one of two standard designs used in the campaign, the other being the gun-barrel montage. Note on Format; the 'one-sheet' is a portrait [vertical] view American or International movie poster, measuring approx. 27 x 40 inches. Prior to the 1980s they were generally issued folded with one vertical and three horizontal creases. This is the standard American film poster format, and essentially the US equivalent of the British quad. Item #68700
