Handsomely rebound in half midnight black calf with contrasting twin red morocco title labels, spine ruled in six compartments with traditional raised bands, matching cloth sides, top edge gilt. A clean, fine copy. Novelist Ian Fleming discusses the island where, at his winter retreat named Goldeneye, he wrote one Bond novel a year from 1952/3-1964. Fleming's contribution, entitled 'Introducing Jamaica' had appeared in the Sunday Times in August 1965, so this is the first edition in book form. Item #68482
