Publisher's cloth-effect paper over boards with scarlet endpapers in a pictorial dust-jacket illustrated by Richard Chopping priced at 15s. Contents clean and fresh. A near fine copy in a very good jacket with a few minor nicks and tears to crown, joints a little rubbed, rear panel gently toned/dusty and a few brown spots at foot of front panel. Shows well. An affordable copy of the true first, which (importantly) is not clipped. The tenth book in the James Bond series. A beautiful girl with a sensual past, Vivienne Michel is different from all the women 007 has known before.
