Publisher's black cloth-effect paper over boards blocked in silver and red metallic foils, dust-jacket illustrated by Richard Chopping, priced at £2.95. The jacket corners are unclipped, as found 'occasionally' (Gilbert). Contents clean and fresh. Top edge and rear panel slightly dusty else a crisp, fine copy. Jon Gilbert's file copy, with his pencilled notes and ownership signature. His comprehensive guide to the works of Ian Fleming (2012) won the 16th Breslauer Prize for bibliography. Many of Cape's 70s James Bond hardcover reprints were taken into the lending library system to replace existing well-worn stock; clean, privately owned copies such as this are genuinely scarce.
