Contents clean, some rubbing to covers. Very good. A scarce book. Hephaestus is the god of fire, the incarnation of the machine-age of today. The book explores the notion of absolute power and world domination, such themes being prevalent throughout the James Bond novels of Ian Fleming, whose own signed copy was sold by this firm in 2009 (and recently returned to stock). This particular example is from the comprehensive archive assembled by Jon Gilbert (pencil signature within). His encyclopaedic guide to the works of Ian Fleming (2012) won the 16th Breslauer Prize for bibliography. Item #67939
