Jacket is clean and bright with minor rubbing to crown. A near fine copy. A jewel heist in London's Regent Street leads Biggles of the Air Police to a remote island off the coast of Labrador. A literary ancestor of secret agent James Bond, "Biggles globetrotted like 007, and his recruitment to a special elite in the later novels seems very Bondian" (The Rough Guide to James Bond, 2002, p.47).
