Publisher's hardback cloth in a pictorial dust-wrapper designed by Richard Chopping priced 18s. Text block a little dusty, jacket spotted to rear. Very good. The author's debut novel set in Eton College. This title was reviewed upon publication by Ian Fleming, who was an Old Etonian. Richard Chopping, illustrator of the striking dust-jacket, was already famous for producing the memorable artwork for Ian Fleming's James Bond series. This copy is from the comprehensive archive assembled by Jon Gilbert (pencil signature within). His comprehensive guide to the works of Ian Fleming (2012) won the 16th Breslauer Prize for bibliography. Item #67670
