Bound in blue cloth hardcovers, titled in silver to the spine, with illustrated jacket design. Both the text and the dust jacket are reproduced from the first US edition published by Viking. Contents clean, lacks rear fly, jacket gently used with one small chip to corner. Near fine. Ink stamp of of Ralph L. Baber (father-in-law of Otto Penzler) to flyleaf. Such editions rarely survive and are now extremely difficult to acquire. A Fleming rarity, from the collection of Ian Fleming bibliographer Otto Penzler, purchased by ourselves at Swann Auctions in 2010 (printed label tucked in). Item #67596
