Publisher's cloth in pictorial wrapper, mustard coloured endpapers, twelve black and white illustrations plus vignette illustration to title page, pictorial dust-wrapper priced at $3.50. A clean, fine copy in a crisp, fine jacket with some of the usual sunning to spine, without chips, tears or rubs. A superior example. The final original James Bond book from his creator Ian Fleming, containing two short adventures; the title novella plus 'The Living Daylights'. These were later successfully filmed by EON Productions with Bond played by Roger Moore (Octopussy, 1983) and Timothy Dalton (The Living Daylights, 1987). The UK equivalent was not illustrated.
