Contents clean, light wear to covers, owner name to front, spine creased, with neat crack to head and tail. Very good. An early book from the artist and illustrator later responsible for the memorable series of jacket designs which adorned Ian Fleming's James Bond novels, to which he incorporated his love of wildlife (flowers, insects, bones). In 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service', both M and Bond demonstrate their interest in lepidoptery. This copy is from the comprehensive collection assembled by Jon Gilbert, with his pencilled ownership. His encyclopaedic guide to the works of Ian Fleming (2012) won the 16th Breslauer Prize for bibliography. Item #67209
