Contains the first appearance of this amusing James Bond short story by Connolly, subtitled 'an Extravaganza'. Also contains pieces by Simon Raven, Sylvia Plath and Brigid Brophy. Some gentle age-toning. Fine. Connolly was a friend and colleague of Fleming, and was commissioned by The London Magazine (run by another friend of Fleming, Alan Ross) to write this Bond parody / tribute. It appeared in April 1963 in magazine form and later in 1963 published separately in a softcover edition of only 50 copies. Item #66794
