The story appears on pages 24-7, 84-97, with eight black and white illustrations including a sepia-toned double-page spread. Cheap paper toned as expected, covers with light creasing and wear; a near fine copy, housed in an elegant custom-made gilt-titled black cloth case. An abridged version, being the first American serial printing of Ian Fleming's Doctor No; it is also the first illustrated printing. Scarce. From the comprehensive bibliographical archive assembled by Jon Gilbert (pencilled ownership within). His encyclopaedic guide to the works of Ian Fleming (2012) won the 16th Breslauer Prize for bibliography. Item #66358
