Publisher's photographic wraps, stapled, illustrated throughout. Housed in an elegant black cloth hardcover case, with titles in gilt to the spine. Postal address label to upper, contents clean, minor wear to spine ends. Near fine. The story appears on pages 56–7, 127–32, being an illustrated printing of From a View to a Kill, published under this new title. The double-page colour frontispiece is by John McDermott. It is the first American illustrated edition, and the first of three James Bond titles to appear in Argosy. This copy is from the comprehensive bibliographical archive assembled by Jon Gilbert, with pencil ownership. His encyclopaedic guide to the works of Ian Fleming (2012) won the 16th Breslauer Prize for bibliography. Item #66341
