An elusive early biography of James Bond creator Ian Fleming, published some six months before John Pearson's 'Life of Ian Fleming' (Gilbert). The first three printings (believed to be all that were published in this format).This unique group comes from the Ian Fleming Bibliographical Archive assembled by Jon Gilbert, with his pencilled ownership to endpapers. His comprehensive guide to the works of Ian Fleming (2012) won the 16th Breslauer Prize for bibliography. Item #66166
