Publisher's black cloth-effect paper over boards with red titles and 'Heart' design to front cover, 'playing card' jacket designed by Pat Marriott priced at 16s. Contents clean, edges of text block fresh. A fine copy of the book in near fine jacket which has light wear to spine tips and minor rubbing to folds. Most attractive. Although unmarked, this copy belonged to author Peter Haining (1940-2008) who wrote the reference book James Bond: A Celebration (1987). With Haining's related news clippings tucked in, previous seller's description (2013) and Fleming bibliographer Jon Gilbert's initialled pencilled note to the free endpaper. Item #65965
