USA: Published by The Hearst Corporation, 1964. [Interview] Loose leaves, extracted from the publication, 8pp., stapled to top right. Very good. With pencilled bibliographical note by Jon Gilbert. A scarce interview between renowned thriller writers Ian Fleming and Georges Simenon, arranged and recorded by Gordon Young. This was their only meeting. Previously owned by Iwan Hedman-Morelius, a mystery magazine publisher and a respected figure in Bond-collecting circles (with his characteristic and discreet ink notations to top corners). He was a correspondent of both Fred Snelling, author of Double O Seven: A Report (1964), and Fleming's biographer Andrew Lycett. A rare magazine (no other copy currently available), evidently this extract was the only example Hedman could locate. Item #65652
