No ink inscriptions, contents clean, bumped to lower edges, jacket with a few small chips and tears. This is Hodder's file copy, stamped as such to flyleaf. Their entire archive of retained books and jackets were sold off in the 1990s. A history of the famous newsagency by the head of Reuters, with much content on Lord Kemsley (The Sunday Times), friend and employer of Ian Fleming, who had worked for Reuters in the 30s as a sub-editor. Jones was a close friend of Fleming's mother Eve. This copy is part of the comprehensive archive of James Bond material assembled by Fleming bibliographer Jon Gilbert, with his pencilled description and ownership. Item #65566
