Contains an interview with the James Bond novelist Ian Fleming. A fine copy of the book, in a lightly used price clipped jacket with some toning to the spine panel, archival label mark to base of spine. Jon Gilbert's file copy, with his pencilled notes and ownership signature. His comprehensive guide to the works of Ian Fleming (2012) won the 16th Breslauer Prize for bibliography. Journalist and broadcaster Roy Newquist conducted many interviews with leading authors of the day including Fleming, Truman Capote, James Jones and Harper Lee, being her only recorded interview about 'To Kill A Mockingbird'. Newquist's meeting with Fleming took place in October 1963. Item #65493
