Publisher's cloth-effect paper over boards, blocked in gilt to the spine, in the metallic-effect dust-wrapper printed in black and red, priced at £2.50. With Cape's lilac review slip inserted, with bold logo and printed publication details. Contents and edges clean and fresh, appears unread. Jacket gently handled with a few inevitable (light) marks to the susceptible foil surface. A fine example. Jon Gilbert's copy, with his pencilled notes and ownership to front endpaper. Advance copies are scarce, this being the only copy seen by the bibliographer. The eye-catching '70s jacket is printed in the 'Dufex' process, whereby a metallic foil is imprinted with a design or image via litho printing. Item #65358
