Publisher's black cloth-effect paper over boards, silver titles to spine. A working copy; disbound sheets (loose) in the cloth case, which shows some wear. Text is complete, some spotting, ink mark at foot. Provided with a later plain brown paper jacket with printed labels, made for ready-reference purposes. Jon Gilbert's file copy, with his pencilled notes, bookplate and ownership signature to front endpaper. His comprehensive guide to the works of Ian Fleming (2012) won the 16th Breslauer Prize for bibliography. The sixth Bond thriller, and the first to be filmed (released in 1962). Item #65310
