The novella is advertised on the front cover and appears on pp.22-4, and pp.95-100, with a full-colour frontispiece illustration by Lou Feck. Publisher's colour-illustrated paper covers, priced at 50c. Presented in a smart black cloth chemise case, with gilt titles to spine. Without postal address label to upper (scarce thus). Contents toned as expected, minor wear to spine ends, closed tear to front cover. Near fine, housed in a gilt-titled protective hardback cloth case. This is the first American appearance, abridged from 'The Living Daylights', which first appeared in the The Sunday Times Colour Section in February the same year. Item #65036
