Original barcode sticker to rear board. A fine copy. First edition, limited "Red" Bentley edition, number 253 of 500 copies only. A "White" edition was also issued in a similar style, housed in a chrome case in the shape of a Bentley Continental GT, as featured in the novel. A slick, contemporary James Bond adventure set in Afghanistan and Dubai. The text block of this edition features a hollowed out housing to the top of the folios, in which can be found a chrome 9mm bullet with this copy's issue number engraved on the primer. This copy is from the significant Ian Fleming collection of Martin Schøyen (b.1940), with his bookplate. Schøyen's private collection of manuscripts, which span all cultures and all time periods, is one of the largest and most comprehensive of its kind. Item #156140
